Workshops by Sonia Samtani Pre-Course Information

Please review our general guidelines and select the workshop you are joining to read our pre-course information.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes earlier so we can begin the workshops on time.
  • As temperatures in the seminar rooms may vary, we recommend bringing a few layers so you can add or remove as necessary.
  • For full-day course, there will be a 60-minute lunchbreak daily and tea-breaks will take place every 2 hours. We highly recommend having lunch together with your group to facilitate a complete experience of total immersion. As we are centrally located, there are several restaurants or cafes nearby to choose from.
  • Tea, coffee and light snacks will be provided throughout the event.
  • Please bring writing materials with you to take notes.

FOR ONLINE COURSES:

  • Please ensure that you have a high-speed internet connection, and that the sound and camera on your device is working.
  • Ensure that you are in a private room where you can sit comfortably and you will not be disturbed for the duration of the workshop. Handle all your other tasks beforehand so your phone is not buzzing and you are alone in the space without any distractions from outside, or pets in the room. It is recommended to use your laptop or desktop over your phone so you receive a greater visual sensory experience.
  • If you have NOT used Zoom before, please take the time to download the software the night before.
  • Log into the meeting 5 minutes BEFORE the workshop starts so that you are comfortable with the platform and we can begin on time.
  • Make sure you are showing up on video, and your video is on throughout the duration of workshop. 
  • We are holding a safe space online and upholding the values of confidentiality, care and trust, so that each of you are able to go deep within yourselves and discover valuable information to move forward in your lives, therefore, we do not record our seminars or provide recordings.  
  • To protect our intellectual property, we do not provide slides of our proprietary information. Feel free to take notes or screenshots for your own reference.

Effective Public Speaking

How to Prepare: As the workshop is about public speaking, we would like you to come dressed as if you were giving a speech to an audience relevant to you. We understand that some of you may give regular speeches, others more infrequently, and some may have never spoken before. Please dress as you would do if you were to talk about the subject of your choice in front of your desired audience. 

Please come in with an open mind and ready to speak and grow! We will be looking at public speaking from all angles including, preparation, structure, body language, image, mindset, structure and of course, delivery. As this is done by a speaker who is also a wellness practitioner, please be prepared to learn by doing, and practice some techniques to enhance your beliefs.

Healing Your Inner Child (Basic)

How to Prepare: Please come in with an open mind and allow yourselves to participate in the processes as deeply as you can; the more active we are, the more we can get from the workshop.

Advanced Inner Child Healing
HOW TO PREPARE:
  1. Kindly arrive 10 minutes earlier so we can start the workshop on time
  2. Please come in with an open mind and allow yourselves to participate in the processes as deeply as you can; the more active we are, the more we can get from the workshop  
  3. If you have access to it, please bring in a photo of you as a young child (preferably at a time you felt like you felt most vulnerable).
  4. Notebooks and pens will be provided for exercises and notes.

How to Prepare: Think of a goal of what you like to achieve in the next 6 months.

Understanding your Chakras

How to Prepare: We will be providing a 7- chakra pendulum and show you how to use it during the workshop. Handouts and clipboards will be provided.

  3. Attire is casual. The temperature in the seminar room can vary considerably so make sure you bring some layers so you can add or remove jackets, sweaters etc as necessary

MEALS:

There will be a one-hour lunch break everyday and 15 minutes tea breaks every 2 hours. The venue is centrally located and there are several restaurants and cafes nearby for you to choose from.

Tea, coffee and light snacks will be provided throughout the event.

Be Your Own Master Level 2

How to Prepare:

  1. Please set time to fully immerse in this workshop. It is advisable not to make weekend plans as you may feel like you need to take time to process the information and meditations in the evening.
  2. Kindly arrive 5 minutes earlier so we can start the workshop on time.
  3. Notebooks, Manuals and pens will be provided.
  4. Attire is casual. The temperature in the seminar room can vary considerably so make sure you bring some layers so you can add or remove jackets, sweaters etc as necessary.

Meals:

There will be a one-hour lunch break everyday and 15 minutes tea breaks every 2 hours. The venue is centrally located and there are several restaurants and cafes nearby for you to choose from.

Be Your Own Master Level 3

How to Prepare:

  5. This level requires more intense and deeper meditation, please be well rested.

Meals:

There will be a one-hour lunch break everyday and 15 minutes tea breaks every 2 hours. The venue is centrally located and there are several restaurants and cafes nearby for you to choose from.
